Substation Electrician I

Job Summary
Perform substation construction and maintenance with minimal to no supervision, including trenching, conduit installation, cable pulling, wiring outdoor equipment, installing ground grids and foundations, setting steel structures, welding aluminum buswork, and installing circuit breakers and transformers. Operate aerial lifts, forklifts, skidsteers, backhoes, excavators, and boom trucks. Adhere to state, local, DOT, and OSHA standards while completing required paperwork and documentation. Communicate with customers, property owners, contractors, utility representatives, and government agencies. Maintain company equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Required Qualifications
- Must know and understand state and local laws, DOT, and OSHA standards
- Must be able to understand and complete required paperwork and documentation of the services
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Bachelor's degree
