Job Summary
Design electrical systems for solar, battery storage, EV charging, and building applications while preparing specifications, cost estimates, and design documents including power analyses. Coordinate and verify as-built drawings, develop reports, and participate in internal and external project meetings with clients. Collaborate daily on cross-functional teams to promote client retention and ensure quality work. Requires 2+ years of substation design experience, an EIT or ability to obtain within 6 months, and proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM. Located in Everett, WA, with a salary range of $96,000 - $115,000 plus performance bonuses.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of design experience in electrical engineering specifically in substation design
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Holds Engineer-In-Training (EIT), Engineer Intern (EI), or the ability to obtain within 6 months
- Firm understanding of the National Electrical Code, other NFPA codes/standards, and energy codes
- Proficiency using Computer-Aided Design and Drafting (AutoCAD)
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work independently or in a team environment effectively
- The ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment
Desired Qualifications

- Building Information Modeling (BIM – Autodesk Revit) experience
- Power Analyses (load flow, short circuit, arc flash, device coordination) in SKM or ETAP
- Electrical power, lighting, and fire alarm design experience
