Job Summary
Create and check general arrangement, anchor bolt, foundation, grounding, lightning coverage, lighting, sag and tension, material list, catalog cut, tube cutting, bolt count, and structural shop drawings. Utilize Autodesk Inventor to produce substation field construction and manufacturing shop drawings while interfacing with structural engineers and project managers. Read layout and detail drawings to complete high-volume work with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical field, such as Engineering, Engineering Technology, Simulation Animation or a related field from an accredited college or University
- A suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience in 3D modeling and/or Auto Cad software will be considered in lieu of a BS degree
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using AutoDesk Inventor preferred
- High voltage CAD drafting and/or steel detailing experience preferred
