Job Summary
Lead and coordinate daily work activities for construction crews, overseeing installation of substation steel structures, bus work, and high-voltage equipment such as breakers, transformers, and disconnect switches. Install conduit, cable tray, and wireway systems while pulling and terminating power, control, and grounding cables. Interpret construction drawings, one-lines, and schematics to sequence work, then communicate daily with project managers and safety personnel to track progress and address issues. Maintain crew discipline, ensure adherence to safety procedures, and complete daily reports to maintain accurate project documentation. Minimum of 5 years' experience in high-voltage substation construction required, with at least 2 years in a foreman or supervisory position.
