Job Summary
Substance Use Support Worker role delivering trauma-informed, risk-managed interventions for young people aged 8–25 across community settings and family/children’s centres. Responsibilities include managing a diverse caseload, diary and travel planning, remote digital systems use, accurate travel time records, and leading walk-and-talk sessions with expenses claimable up to £5 per session. Ideal candidates have experience in substance misuse/drugs & alcohol work and with young people in community settings; strong collaboration within a supportive team and ability to work with youth across various settings.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in substance misuse / drugs & alcohol work
- Background supporting young people in community settings with risk-based work
- Experience with young people aged 8–25
