Job Summary
Epidemiologist I provides epidemiologic and analytical data support for the SUPHR at PDPH, including abstraction, cleaning, and analysis of substance-use datasets (e.g., overdose mortality data, NAS surveillance data), data management in REDCap, IRB approvals as needed, and development of reports, dashboards, and visualizations for internal/external stakeholders. Collaboration with data staff, preparation of findings for conferences/publications, and support for funders and city officials are included. Requires Master of Public Health with epidemiology/statistics coursework; proficiency with SAS, REDCap, ArcGIS; strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and produce timely analyses.
Required Qualifications
- Master of Public Health degree or equivalent in Epidemiology or related field with coursework in Epidemiology and biostatistics
