Job Summary
Provide direct counseling services to patients with chemical dependency in one-to-one or group formats, including screening, evaluation, and intake; follow a client-centered model with emphasis on integrated care; supervision towards licensure; positions in White Center, WA, with responsibilities to work with adolescents and adults, adherence to Federal/State/County reporting requirements (WAC 388-805) and collaboration with referral sources; bilingual English/Spanish preferred; pace includes a minimum of 40 face-to-face encounters per week or 85 direct service hours per week; incentive pay and strong benefits package offered; credentialed pathway for SUDP Trainee or Substance Use Disorder Professional levels.
Required Qualifications
- For Trainee: completed all required classes to become a Substance Use Disorder Professional and current Substance Use Disorder Trainee Registration with the State Department of Health
- Experience working with adolescents
- For Professional: Associate's degree and active SUDP license from the Washington State Department of Health; three years of relevant work experience; First Aid, CPR, and HIV certification throughout employment
