Job Summary
Inpatient SUD Recovery Counselor in Gilroy, CA, will lead recovery and psychoeducational groups, provide one-on-one counseling, and help residents develop relapse-prevention and recovery goals within an integrated behavioral health team. The role supports individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges, collaborates with nurses and therapists, maintains timely documentation, and fosters a safe, structured treatment environment. Requires CADC/CATC or registered counselor status (or current pursuit), with experience in substance use treatment and related fields; bilingual skills are a plus. The position is full-time and focuses on compassionate, trauma-informed care for adults in an inpatient setting.
Required Qualifications
