Job Summary
Oversee all clinical aspects of the recovery center, including providing regular supervision to therapists, counselors, and case managers. Conduct individual and group supervision sessions, review treatment plans, and lead therapeutic groups using evidence-based curricula like DBT, CBT, and ACT. Deliver direct in-patient therapy, perform initial assessments within three days of admission, and manage patient crises while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and foster a collaborative team environment through multidisciplinary meetings. Develop ongoing training for staff and implement quality assurance programs to maintain high-quality, trauma-informed care.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed clinician (LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC)
- Ability to supervise associates
- Master's Degree from a clinical track (MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC)
- Five years' experience or training in a detox rehab or substance abuse treatment center
- In-patient mental health setting experience
- Experience with substance use treatment
- Crisis intervention
- Working knowledge of relevant regulations, policies, and ethical guidelines related to substance use treatment
- Demonstrated knowledge of DSM-5, psycho-social rehabilitation and recovery principles and best practices
- Knowledge of direct patient care services which ensures the safety, comfort and protection of patients
- Proficient knowledge of electronic and online tools such as Microsoft Office, Office 365 or similar tools
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Superior interpersonal, human relations, and behavior management skills
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills
- Ability to lead, supervise and inspire other employees in a collaborative environment
- Ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices
Desired Qualifications

- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) knowledge and training
