Job Summary

Conduct direct counseling, assessment, and evaluation for adults, youth, and families with chemical dependency diagnoses under clinical supervision. Provide one-to-one or group counseling for emerging mental health issues and serve as co-case manager for up to ten youth. Deliver screening, evaluation, and referrals to community treatment programs while implementing individualized treatment plans based on ASAM criteria. Maintain accurate documentation of direct services hours, education, and patient records to submit monthly reports and progress notices to courts and referral sources. Complete required federal, state, and local forms including BECCA and CDDA submissions. Perform a minimum of 60 hours of face-to-face contact and 60 hours of activities monthly. Maintain current Substance Use Disorder Trainee registration, CPR, First Aid, and Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor license.

Required Qualifications

Must have completed all the classes required to become a Substance Use Disorder Professional
Must have completed all the practicum hours required by the State Department of Health to become a Substance Use Disorder Professional
Must have current Substance Use Disorder Trainee Registration with the State Department of Health
Must have and maintain a current CPR certification
Must have and maintain active First Aid certification
Must take a TB test annually and at time of hire
Must hold and maintain an active Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor License within 90 days of hire date
Must have and maintain an active Washington State Agency Affiliated Counselor License
