Job Summary
Provides substance use and mental health services to clients as part of a multidisciplinary team in an outpatient community setting.
Required Qualifications
- Substance Use Disorder Certification from an accredited college or university in a mental health discipline
- Utah licensure as a Substance Use Disorder Counselor
- Ability to maintain professionalism and adapt to change
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals diagnosed with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorder preferred
- Demonstrates sound judgment within scope of position’s responsibilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Skills in crisis intervention
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
Additional Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must pass Utah-DHHS – Office of Licensing background screening and pre-employment drug screen
