Job Summary
Conduct substance use and behavioral health assessments and evaluations while providing individual, group, and brief therapeutic interventions to individuals within a correctional setting. Deliver treatment for substance use and co-occurring disorders as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team, developing individualized treatment plans and monitoring client progress with accurate clinical documentation. Assist with crisis intervention, provide counseling and education, and coordinate referrals for continuity of care when individuals transition between facilities or to outside services. Maintain awareness of safety and security requirements while working within established professional and correctional policies. This role offers no night, weekend, or holiday shifts with weekly pay and a $250 referral bonus, allowing you to make a meaningful difference in the incarcerated population.

- Licensed Psychologist
- Master's Degree
- Licensed Addiction Counselor
Desired Qualifications
- CDOC experience
- Experience providing addiction treatment in a correctional or justice-involved setting
- Experience working with individuals who may be resistant or difficult to engage in treatment
- Experience completing substance use assessments
- Experience providing addiction counseling in inpatient or outpatient environments
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary behavioral health team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with facility staff and other healthcare professionals
