Substance Use Disorder Counselor (SUD) Corrections Contract

Job Summary
Conduct substance use and behavioral health assessments, evaluations, and treatment for individuals within a correctional setting. Provide individual, group, and brief therapeutic interventions while developing and supporting individualized treatment plans. Monitor client progress, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and coordinate referrals for continuity of care. Assist with crisis intervention and collaborate with mental health professionals and correctional staff to deliver guidance. Work within established safety and security requirements while providing services to diverse populations. No night, weekend, or holiday shifts required. Weekly pay with a $250 referral bonus upon completing 40 hours. Medical, dental, and vision benefits available.

- Licensed Psychologist
- Master's Degree
- Licensed Addiction Counselor
Desired Qualifications
- CDOC experience
- Experience providing addiction treatment in a correctional or justice-involved setting
- Experience working with individuals who may be resistant or difficult to engage in treatment
- Experience completing substance use assessments
- Experience providing addiction counseling in inpatient or outpatient environments
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary behavioral health team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with facility staff and other healthcare professionals
