Job Summary
Conduct substance use and behavioral health assessments and evaluations for individuals within a correctional setting. Provide individual, group, and brief therapeutic interventions while delivering treatment for substance use and co-occurring disorders as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team. Develop and support individualized treatment plans, monitor client progress, and maintain accurate clinical documentation. Offer counseling, education, and behavioral health guidance, assist with crisis intervention, and coordinate referrals for continuity of care. Collaborate with mental health professionals, correctional staff, and other treatment team members to provide clinical recommendations. Work within established professional, clinical, safety, and correctional policies while maintaining awareness of security requirements. No night, weekend, or holiday shifts are required.

- Licensed Psychologist
- Master's Degree
- Licensed Addiction Counselor
Desired Qualifications
- CDOC experience
- Experience providing addiction treatment in a correctional or justice-involved setting
- Experience working with individuals who may be resistant or difficult to engage in treatment
- Experience completing substance use assessments
- Experience providing addiction counseling in inpatient or outpatient environments
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary behavioral health team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organization and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with facility staff and other healthcare professionals
