Substance Use Disorder Coordinator

Job Summary
Oversee daily management and performance of medication-assisted treatment and substance use disorder initiatives within the behavioral health department. Review referrals for acuity screening, coordinate insurance authorizations, and schedule services. Provide direct outpatient behavioral health care including initial assessments, crisis intervention, psychoeducation, and triage. Develop treatment plans and document interventions in patient medical records per established standards. Maintain Department of Public Health, NCQA PCMH, Joint Commission, and Department of Mental Health compliance requirements. Conduct monthly SUD chart peer reviews to ensure clinical documentation meets CMS regulations. Manage registries to track quality metrics and patient care standards. Travel to all locations is required.
Required Qualifications
- LICSW
- 5-7 years experience in direct patient care and mental health/ substance use disorder administration
- Prior department of mental health experience
- Proven ability to shift gears in the moment, restructure staffing, scheduling, and billing needs to balance volume
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
- Excellent ability to collaborate with clinicians and staff at all levels
- Travel to all locations
