Job Summary
Provide goal-directed, patient-centered, medically necessary individual therapy to adults with mental health and/or addictions in an outpatient services clinic; perform intake/assessments using DSM-V criteria; conduct risk assessments; initiate outreach to increase engagement; develop and review treatment plans; complete DLA-20 and maintain documentation in accordance with COMCARE/CCBHC guidelines; manage progress notes, releases of information, and discharge summaries; comply with required checks and reporting; collaborate with treatment team and community partners to support recovery and daily functioning.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher
- Licensed by the Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board as an LMSW, LMFT, LMLP, LPC, or LP
- Temporary license holders must test for permanent licensure within 90 days of hire
- Meet CMHC, CCBHC, and CIC licensing standards and pass KBI, DCF child abuse check, DCF adult abuse registry, KDADS Nurse Aide and Criminal Record check, National Sex Offender Registry check, and Office of Inspector General (OIG) Exclusion Database check
- Complete orientations provided by Sedgwick County and COMCARE
Desired Qualifications
- May be clinically licensed by the Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board as an LCP or LCPC, LCMFT, or LSCSW
