Job Summary
Conduct outpatient substance use counseling using evidence-based practices, delivering integrated treatment for individuals with co-occurring substance use and mental health conditions. Perform substance use screenings, assessments, and reassessments to contribute to and implement person-centered treatment plans. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, support crisis response and safety planning, and complete timely, accurate EHR documentation in compliance with OMH, OASAS, Medicaid, and CCBHC standards. Engage in required trainings, supervision, and quality improvement activities while maintaining on-call rotation as assigned. Requires a Bachelor's degree, CASAC 1 or 2 certification, and experience with dually diagnosed individuals; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's required
- CASAC 1 or CASAC 2
- Must have one or more years' experience working with dually diagnosed individuals including the delivery of integrated services
- Must have excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient in MS Word/Excel
- Ability to research material via the internet
