Job Summary
Lead 3–4 one-hour group therapy sessions daily using a structured, evidence-based curriculum to facilitate discussions within approved clinical guardrails. Collaborate with prescribers, care navigators, and recovery coaches while monitoring member progress and documenting outcomes. Support a positive, recovery-oriented environment and engage in local community outreach to promote the organization's mission. This role requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree with required behavioral health licensure and at least two years of experience leading group therapy in a substance use disorder setting. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, along with high comfort using EMR and telehealth software. The position involves working 2–3 evenings per week up to 9pm as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree
- Required licensure or certification: Behavioral health licensure including but not limited to: LCSW, LPC, LMHC, MCAP, LMFT, CAP with ability and willingness to obtain licensure reciprocity in other states
- Minimum two years of experience leading group therapy in a SUD setting
- High comfort level with Technology: EMR, Telehealth software, Google products (Gmail, Google Docs/Sheets/Drive), mobile apps, etc.
- Compassion, collaboration, commitment to quality care, and an investment in member success
- Ability to work 2-3 evenings per week up to 9pm as needed
- Florida Background Screening Requirement: As a condition of employment for positions providing care to vulnerable populations, the selected candidate must undergo a background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse

- Other preferred backgrounds, experience, and skills include: mental health, social work, substance use disorder treatment, therapy, human services, social services, medication assisted treatment or MAT
