Job Summary
Provide substance use counseling to clients in the substance use program (level 1 and level 2.1) including individual, group, and family sessions; maintain a caseload; complete prior authorizations; document progress notes in an electronic health record; implement evidence-based modalities; complete treatment plans and other required documents; admit clients using NJSAMS; collect weekly UDS; make referrals to detox, inpatient, mental health, or supportive services; supervise interns.
Required Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Counseling, social work, or psychology
- LCADC or CADC required
- LAC,LPC, LSW or LCSW preferred
- Experience completing prior authorizations and using NJSAMS
- Knowledge of IOP level of treatment
