Job Summary
Provide substance use treatment including individual, family and group counseling; perform Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT); deliver person-centered, trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and culturally competent services; assess treatment needs and develop objectives; engage participants in crisis intervention and relapse prevention; coordinate access to MAT, emergency detox, and community supports; dispense Naloxone as an approved NYS dispenser; outreach with DCO partners; contribute to organizational DEI commitments; work within a multidisciplinary team with therapists, psychiatrists/PNPs, and nurses; utilize motivational interviewing and CBT; run evidence-based group treatments; maintain safety and reporting of hazards; flexible full-time schedule with hybrid remote option.
Required Qualifications
- Active CASAC certification in good standing
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 months of work experience providing substance use services to individuals with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorder and criminal justice involvement
- Individuals with previous criminal justice experience are encouraged to apply
