Job Summary

Develop treatment plans in concert with the Program Director or Clinical Supervisor reflecting specialized Track issues related to physical, medical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs. Provide individual and group counseling, conduct assessments, coordinate services, deliver psychoeducation, and manage referrals while maintaining up-to-date documentation. Use a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach to collaborate with patients, internal team members, referral resources, mentors, and family members. Engage patients in decision-making processes regarding assessment and appropriate care levels, assist with scheduling admissions or initial appointments, and monitor patient access to treatment and providers to address recovery barriers. Requires OASAS CASAC-T or CASAC certification, one to two years of SUD experience, and knowledge of co-occurring disorders and relevant laws.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • OASAS CASAC-T or CASAC Certification
  • Minimum One-Two (1-2) years of related experience working with clients with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) preferably within an Opioid Treatment Program
  • Knowledge and/or training in Trauma Informed Care and various organizational treatment
  • Knowledge of and experience working with persons with co-occurring disorders
  • Knowledge of the laws regarding personnel and client information
