Job Summary
Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for patients with opioid addiction, managing crisis situations and coping strategies. Coordinate patient care by presenting status updates to the treatment team and developing comprehensive treatment plans according to state regulatory requirements. Provide clinical services, patient education, and progress evaluations while collaborating with doctors, nurses, and therapists. Maintain excellent documentation and computer skills using the EMR system. Requires a CADC or ability to obtain within two years of supervised work, plus a positive, non-judgmental attitude toward the patient population.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a CADC or be working toward a CADC and able to obtain within 2 years of working while supervised
- Previous experience working with chemically dependent individuals
- Must demonstrate a positive, non-judgmental, and accepting attitude toward our patient population
- Understanding of an EMR system (electronic medical records)
- Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check
- Excellent documentation and computer skills
