Job Summary
Conduct individual initial assessments and evaluations for service eligibility. Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions focused on crisis management, coping strategies, and opioid addiction treatment. Establish and review initial treatment plans with patients while completing bio-psychosocial assessments. Coordinate all services throughout treatment, involve families in the recovery process, and develop aftercare and discharge plans. Respond to patient grievances as needed. Collaborate with physicians and nurses to support patient outcomes. This role supports patients through medically assisted treatments in a comfortable outpatient clinic setting at BAART Programs.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Behavioral Science
- Must demonstrate a positive, non-judgmental, and accepting attitude toward our patient population
- Understanding of an EMR system (electronic medical records)
- Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check
Desired Qualifications
- Substance abuse counseling experience, preferred
