Substance Use Clinician

Substance Use Clinician needed to support the opening of a new Hyannis facility (Hyannis, MA) with responsibilities across crisis intervention, direct patient care, assessments, individual counseling, discharge planning, and aftercare coordination. Duties include maintaining caseloads, developing and updating treatment plans, conducting weekly group sessions, completing bio-psychosocial assessments and progress notes, coordinating referrals and aftercare services, involving patients’ families when appropriate, and participating in MDT meetings and mandatory trainings. Requires either a bachelor’s or master’s degree and licensure in a behavioral health field, with demonstrated substance use counseling experience (3+ years for bachelor’s level; 4,000 hours with supervision or equivalent licensure for master’s level). Knowledge of HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2, crisis de-escalation training, CPR certification, and ongoing professional development are expected.
