Job Summary
Provide individual and group counseling for clients with substance use disorders; complete assessments and create personalized treatment plans; monitor progress, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and ensure HIPAA and IDHS standards compliance; facilitate educational workshops, relapse-prevention programs, and family support sessions; collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and community resources to support recovery.
Required Qualifications
- Current Illinois IDHS license as a Substance Abuse Professional (e.g., CADC, LSW, LPC, or equivalent)
- SAP-DOT qualification required
- Minimum 2 years of experience providing substance use counseling or related behavioral-health services
