Job Summary
Substance Abuse Counselor needed at Saratoga Medical Center, located at Portsmouth Naval Base, VA. Full-time role providing substance abuse counseling in a rehabilitation program; requires an Associates degree in Behavioral Science with specialized training in Substance Abuse and Chemical Dependency, National Certification, and a current Certified Addictions Counselor license, plus BLS. Required Qualifications
- Associates of Arts degree in Behavioral Science with specialized training in Substance Abuse and Chemical Dependency treatment
- Minimum of 1-year full time experience as Substance Abuse Counselor in a Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Program
- National Certification
- Current, full, active and unrestricted license to practice as Certified Addictions Counselor
- BLS
