Job Summary
Conduct individualized assessment, treatment planning, counseling, education, relapse prevention, and recovery support for TBI Waiver participants. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop person-centered strategies addressing unique cognitive, behavioral, emotional, and environmental challenges following traumatic brain injury. Maintain a CASAC credential in good standing while providing services to individuals with traumatic brain injury, acquired brain injury, neurological disorders, or cognitive impairments. Requires a Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or special education, two years of relevant experience, a driver's license, and availability for day, evening, and weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) in good standing
- Bachelor's degree in psychology
- Bachelor's degree in social work
- Special Education Degree or Rehabilitation Counseling
- Two years of experience working with individuals who have traumatic brain injury, acquired brain injury, neurological disorders, or cognitive impairments
- Two years of experience providing services to individuals with a history of substance abuse
- Driver's License
