Substance Abuse Counselor (Master's Level)

As a Substance Abuse Counselor you’ll provide individual, group, and family counseling to patients within a collaborative treatment team, handling intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork. You’ll complete psychosocial assessments and individualized treatment plans, identify clinical and case-management needs, and conduct at least 20 hours of direct one-on-one or group counseling weekly. You’ll educate patients on treatment options, health issues, and steps to recovery, and you’ll obtain urine drug screens and verify patient identification. You’ll contribute to program operations while safeguarding patient and company information. The role is based in Cottage Grove, MN, within an outpatient setting of New Season Treatment Centers.
