Job Summary
As a Substance Abuse Counselor, provide individual, group, and family counseling to patients with Opioid Use Disorder. Work with a collaborative treatment team to identify clinical needs, complete intakes/admissions/discharges/transfers, and develop individualized treatment plans. Conduct at least 20 hours of direct patient contact per week, educate patients on treatment and recovery steps, obtain urine drug screens, and document patient progress through counseling and group interactions. Coordinate care with physicians, program leadership, and nursing staff to support safe, effective treatment and patient well-being.
Required Qualifications
- Active MAADC I or II, CADC, CRADC, CRAADC, CCDP-D, CCJP, RADC or RADC-P from the state of Missouri (MO)
