Job Summary
Substance Abuse Counselor in a residential PREP Center on the overnight shift, responsible for delivering substance abuse and relapse prevention counseling, documenting services in AWARDS within 24 hours, conducting pre-intake screenings, assessments, individual and group counseling, and coordinating care with external/internal providers; must have CASAC or CASAC-T credentials and experience with OASAS-related systems, and be able to work with diverse populations in Staten Island, NY.
Required Qualifications
- CASAC or CASAC-T (pending CASAC certification) with HSD/GED or comparable credentials such as MSW, MHC, LMSW, LMHC required.
