Job Summary
Coordinate Substance Abuse Prevention and Suicide Prevention training for ARNG units, conduct unit risk assessments and trainings in alignment with AR 600-85, AR 350-53, DA-PAM 600-24, and ALARACT 057-2014; manage Unit Risk Inventory (URI) and enter/update records in DAMIS/CIMS within required timeframes; provide case management from referral to disposition, track progress, and deliver weekly/monthly status reports; serve on advisory councils (CR2C and ADIC), collaborate with commanders and community providers, and travel in-state to support training and program implementation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Social Science or related field
- 3 – 5 years of practical experience in Substance Abuse Prevention, Suicide Prevention or Resiliency field
- Strong and professional instruction and briefing skills
- Ability to work a variable schedule including some weekends for training
- Willingness to travel: In state travel is required
- Experience with public speaking and case management
