Job Summary
Coordinate substance abuse and suicide prevention training and case management for ARNG units. Establish and maintain relationships with State Points of Contact (POCs); implement program goals and standard operating procedures; coordinate SAP and SP/Bystander trainings; manage the Unit Risk Inventory (URI) and provide required reports. Enter training and case data into the DAMIS system and track progress in the internal database. Travel in-state to support ARNG units, report weekly/monthly outcomes, and participate in relevant councils (CR2C/ADIC). Holds a Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience and demonstrates strong instruction/briefing skills and flexibility with schedules. Equal opportunity employer.”,
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Social Science or related field
- 3 – 5 years of practical experience in the Substance Abuse Prevention, Suicide Prevention or Resiliency field
- Strong and professional instruction and briefing skills
- Ability to work a variable schedule including some of the weekends that State units are conducting training
- Experience working with military populations
