Job Summary
Seeking a Substance Abuse and Prevention Specialist to provide counseling and support for individuals struggling with substance use, focusing on youth in a community-centered wraparound program.
Required Qualifications
- AA or Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field
- Valid Certified Prevention Specialist credential from CAADE or equivalent
- Relevant experience working with youth in a mental health/social service setting or 2 years experience working with youth who use/abuse substances
Desired Qualifications
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work effectively with multiple interruptions
- Experience working with people over the phone
