Job Summary
Offshore subsea structural design and analysis engineer role focused on designing subsea structures, installation aids, and seafastening systems for deepwater and shallow water field developments. Responsibilities include conducting structural analyses and calculations, providing data to designers for 3D/2D drawings, reviewing drawings, interfacing with installation, geotechnical, flowline, subsea equipment, and fabrication teams, coordinating technical activities, participating in project and client meetings, designing for robustness, cost-effectiveness, constructability, and safety, selecting loads and materials, ensuring compliance with offshore requirements, verifying long-term reliability, collaborating across disciplines, performing analyses with SACS/ABAQUS/ANSYS, and contributing to BOQ/MTO preparation. Requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, 3-5 years of offshore structural experience, proficiency in English, experience with FEA software and CAD tools, and willingness to travel abroad.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience as a structural engineer within the offshore oil and gas or wind industries.
- Proficiency in English.
- Technical expertise in structural analysis, design, and verification, with experience using FEA software such as SACS, ABAQUS, or ANSYS.
- Knowledge of CAD tools including AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks.
- Willingness to travel abroad based on project needs and scope.
