Job Summary
Oversee complex Workers' Compensation and Third-Party Liability subrogation recovery cases, evaluating, preparing, negotiating, and settling them with higher-level settlement authority where applicable. Conduct audits of work, review legal precedents, and research applicable laws while collaborating with the Legal Department. Provide ongoing training to lower-level associates, develop procedures, and prepare communications. Assist the manager with special projects and interpret appropriate laws to drive case outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree
- 5 years' experience handling Workers' Compensation and/or Third-Party Liability cases
- equivalent background of education and/or experience
Desired Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Workers' Compensation
- Strong knowledge of Third-Party Liability (TPL)
- preferred subrogation
