Subregional Preconstruction Manager

Job Summary
Review individual project drawing deliverables for technical content, pricing, and constructability while evaluating current standards for cost savings. Lead cost review meetings with internal stakeholders to explain budget evolution and help establish and update budgets for potential development projects across the portfolio. Follow market trends impacting project budgets and maintain deep relationships with general contracting partners on the preconstruction side. Provide assistance with cost-related issues on projects in flight and liaise with partners on budget developments. This role supports preconstruction services for contemplated development and redevelopment projects across North America, acting as a liaison between internal teams, clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field
- 5-7 years minimum experience encompassing the construction or preconstruction of Data Centers and Mission Critical facilities
- Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with discipline personnel, office staff, and clientele
- Demonstrated ability to promote and establish teamwork and individual leadership within the discipline
- Ability to successfully and continuously lead a team of internal and external stakeholders to meet and exceed project, discipline, and business unit goals
- Extensive knowledge of building codes and construction systems
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to track market trends by discipline and geographic location
- A strong understanding and mastery of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
- Must be available for weekend shifts
