Job Summary
Lead a subregional procurement team focused on change management and training initiatives tied to system updates, sourcing adjustments, and business process changes. Translate BOM specifications into POs, oversee handover from IMs, manage PO issuance for labour and materials, and ensure alignment with internal policies. Own delivery management activities including confirming onsite delivery dates, expediting shipments, and tracking logistics to meet RFS timelines. Oversee invoice management to verify billing accuracy and resolve discrepancies, and manage returns. Drive inventory strategy, oversee vendor minimum/maximum levels and lead times for replenishment under VMI, and enforce supplier consolidation rules while developing strong supplier relationships. Lead and mentor a team of buyers, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment and ensuring achievement of departmental KPIs and SLAs.
