Job Summary
Subnational Technical and Liaison Officer (Protection Cluster) provides analytical, liaison and technical support to Sub-National Protection Cluster coordination in the South, including needs assessments, protection strategy contextualization, protection mainstreaming, and inter-agency representation. Responsible for translating strategic priorities into action plans, coordinating with partners and local authorities, drafting and sharing information products, and supporting capacity-building and evidence-based decision-making at the sub-national level. Requires bachelor-level education in related fields, at least 4 years of emergency/humanitarian relief experience, and coordination expertise. Ukrainian nationals are required; female candidates are highly encouraged.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor level or above
- in Law, Political and Social Sciences, International Relations or related studies
- minimum 4 years professional experience in emergency/humanitarian relief operations
- experience coordinating protection programs in chronic and acute emergencies
- demonstrated knowledge of emergency responses in protection/social services
- experience with coordination standards and donor reporting
