Submittal Engineering Manager

Job Summary
Lead a team of ~10 Design Engineers and manage 3-6 Submittal Engineers; oversee Submittal & Resubmittal DE schedule and outsourced submittals; attend daily huddles; administer engineering reviews on shop drawings and interpret architectural drawings; train the Submittal Engineering team; require proficiency in CabinetVision/Microvellum, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office tools; strong mathematical and geometrical skills; ability to read and analyze architectural drawings; provide leadership to ensure accurate, high-quality output within defined processes.
Required Qualifications
- Two-year degree, or higher, from a technical school or university is required
- Relevant experience can be considered as an equivalent to a degree
- Five or more years’ experience within the woodworking, manufacturing, or construction industry is required
- AutoCAD experience is required
- CabinetVision and Microvellum experience is required
