Job Summary
Review and audit medical claims for accuracy; resubmission of rejected claims; ensure adherence to the agreed price list and provider manual for billing to payers; update billing officers on rejections and take corrective action; follow up with doctors for justifications and prepare for resubmission; submit claims with proper codes and format within the stipulated time; perform duties assigned by the HOD within the scope of the role; comply with OSH and infection control policies, participate in related trainings and drills, and follow waste management procedures; be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures and assist with risk assessments and incident reports; use PPE and safety systems as required.
