Job Summary
Provide technical evaluation and corrective actions for Virginia Class AN/BVY-1 (ISIS) submarine radar systems; installation, maintenance, repair, testing, calibration, and operation of ISIS/SWFTS systems; develop technical and engineering data including manuals, troubleshooting procedures, and drawings; support test, checkout, and certification activities; project status and inventory tracking; travel up to 10% to naval locations.
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret US Government Clearance
- Five years practical experience and High School diploma/GED OR Three years practical experience and an Associate’s Degree in Engineering Technology, math, or science; or Formal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications
- Experience in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and/or repair of C5I and/or NC3 systems/equipment
- Experience in the maintenance/repair and/or installation disciplines
- Experience in design, preparation, and modification of engineering documents, and drawings
- Ability to travel up to ten (10)% of the time
- Excellent communications and analytical skills
