Job Summary
Subject Matter Expert – Natural Sciences (Japanese) for a remote, contract-based AI benchmarking project. Create and review realistic, domain-specific natural sciences tasks in the target language, adapt and apply clear scoring rubrics to evaluate AI-generated and human responses, review and score submissions for accuracy and regulatory alignment, and provide expert feedback to contribute to high-quality gold-standard solutions. Must be native in the target language with strong English proficiency and have 5+ years of Natural Sciences experience, plus knowledge of local frameworks and the ability to craft professional-grade content with careful attention to detail. Work as an independent contractor from anywhere, with flexible hours, and participate in onboarding via Resume/CV submission and onboarding steps including Tipalti. Locations are remote with no fixed geographic requirement.
Required Qualifications
- Native in the target language with strong professional English proficiency
- 5+ years of experience in Natural Sciences (e.g. biology, chemistry, physics, environmental science, earth sciences, or related disciplines)
- Strong knowledge of target local frameworks
- Ability to write and evaluate professional-grade natural sciences content in the target language with high attention to detail
