Job Summary
Review federal RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs to scope IT and software development projects, then provide expert guidance on technical solutions, project plans, timelines, and level of effort. Act as the primary author for the Technical Section of proposals, assisting the Federal Solutions Team with writing, editing, and ensuring documents are comprehensive and persuasive. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information while staying current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT and software development. Must possess 10+ years of experience in general IT, full-stack development, federal proposal writing, and technical writing. 100% remote in Eastern or Central Time Zones; hourly contract with no sponsorship available.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of work experience in the following: General IT domain (i.e., help desk, organizational networking, and organizational security)
- 10+ years of work experience in the following: Full-stack software development (front end and back end)
- Current/prior experience as a Technical Writer with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable language for a variety of audiences
- Current/prior experience in federal proposal writing
- Must be willing to provide a technical writing sample
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
