Job Summary
Manage contractual agreements with subcontractors by drafting, negotiating, and executing subcontracts while ensuring compliance with terms and conditions. Serve as the focal point for all contractual communications and commitments to customers or subcontractors, advising the business team on assigned contract developments. Review Requests for Proposals and prepare compliant proposal responses, including subcontractor documentation, while maintaining accurate contract records and databases. Monitor contract performance, support invoice review and approval processes, and resolve discrepancies to mitigate contract-related risks. Collaborate with program managers, legal teams, and subcontractors to meet all contractual obligations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance
- Eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- Subject to a U.S. Government security investigation
Desired Qualifications
- Developing knowledge of applicable federal regulations (FAR/DFARS)
- Experience with prime contractors or subcontractors across various contract types
- Developing experience reviewing and analyzing contract or subcontract documents for accuracy, performance risk, and conformance with contract terms, conditions, and other provisions
- Developing understanding of contract or subcontract management principles
- Developing analytical/critical thinking skills, attention to detail, and research skills
- Developing negotiation skills for contracts or subcontracts of moderate to high risk/complexity
- Developing verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deal effectively with personnel at all levels
- Developing computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office) to support effective communications and business needs
- Possesses a growth mindset for continuous learning to remain current with regulations and internal procedures
- Identifies opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation
