Subcontracts Specialist

Job Summary
Coordinate sourcing and bidding activities, including subcontractor communications and commercial evaluations. Draft, review, and negotiate subcontracts and service agreements to align with FLINT policies and business objectives. Collaborate with Operations, Legal, HSE, and Finance teams to ensure appropriate scope definition, risk allocation, and contractual obligations. Implement prime contract flowdowns and maintain structured communication with subcontractors throughout the engagement lifecycle. Support post-award activities, including commercial handover, change management coordination, claims support, and subcontractor performance tracking. Monitor subcontractor compliance and maintain audit-ready contract records. Contribute to process improvements, subcontracting templates, and onboarding workflows. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment throughout project execution.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, subcontract management, or a related discipline
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to drive favorable commercial outcomes
- General knowledge of business law and contract-related legal principles
- University degree in Supply Chain Management, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience with contracts administration, management, and close-out processes
- Construction industry experience
- Familiarity with construction industry practices and defined scopes of work
- Must complete a satisfactory pre-employment Background Check
- Must complete the Profile TRAITS Survey
