Job Summary
The Subcontracts Administrator II position requires overseeing the management of subcontracts, ensuring compliance with regulations, and working collaboratively with stakeholders to meet project goals. Responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating subcontracts, monitoring performance, and performing audits. The ideal candidate will have an Associates degree and over 4 years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of relevant experience working as a Subcontracts Administrator.
- Detail Oriented – You pay attention to the details and ensure that all work is completed with highest degree of accuracy.
- Analytical Skills – You possess the ability to collect, organize, visualize, and assimilate data.
- Effective Communicator – This position requires strong interpersonal skills and a proven record of building relationships. You understand internal/external stakeholder requirements, expectations, and needs. You have excellent oral, written, editing skills, and presentation.
- Team Mindset – Strong service skills with the ability to work in a team environment and foster positive and collaborative work habits.
- Willing to Take Initiative – You like learning new things and take initiative to get results rather than waiting for things to happen. You can work independently with limited direction.
- Priority & Deadline Management – You understand what a priority is and can independently manage tight deadlines to completion.
- Microsoft Office – You are proficient in Microsoft Office and are particularly skilled at Excel, Word and Adobe Professional.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with various types of contracts, including Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Firm Fixed Price Level of Effort (FFPLOE), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Time and Materials (T&M) and Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) is a plus.
- Experience with government subcontract file documentation, CPSR requirements, and the proposal process for federal acquisitions is a plus.
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Law, Construction, Contracts, Purchasing, Economics, Industrial Management, Marketing, Quantitative Methods, Organization and Management, or a demonstrated equivalent combination of education, training and related experience.
Additional Requirements
- This role specifically supports U.S. Federal government contracts that require U.S. citizenship for employees.
- A pre-hire drug test is required.
