Job Summary

Develop, negotiate, and administer subcontracts of all types, including Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus, and Time and Material, with moderate risk and complexity. Maintain familiarity with FAR and DFAR requirements while reviewing solicitations and preparing Requests for Proposals. Evaluate subcontractor proposals and prepare documentation for price and cost analysis. Negotiate price, cost, terms, and other subcontract provisions while collaborating with program staff to ensure compliance with contract performance requirements. Exercise independent judgment in selecting methods and techniques to achieve solutions. Requires U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a SECRET to TOP SECRET security clearance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field from an accredited college or university
  • 2+ years of Government subcontract administrative experience
  • Minimum of two years of experience in contracts administration, subcontracts administration, or pricing related to Government contracting
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of business principles such as procurement, contract law, finance, and accounting
  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
  • Familiarity with Government Approved Purchasing Systems requirements
  • Understanding of general defense contracting practices, including administration and pricing, and the ability to interpret and negotiate contract terms and conditions
  • U. S. Citizenship status
  • ability to obtain a SECRET to TOP SECRET security clearance
