Subcontractor Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate subcontractor accounting activities including notices to owners, lien waivers, and timely payment processing of subcontractor invoices; serve as primary liaison with subcontractors; maintain insurance certificates and critical project documentation; assist with certified payroll collection, review, and compliance tracking for prevailing wage and government-funded projects; support accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general accounting tasks; assist with fixed asset and inventory tracking and general office administration for the accounting department. Requires proficiency in Excel and Office 365, experience with Viewpoint Spectrum ERP, and the ability to work independently; construction industry experience, particularly with heavy civil contractors, and strong communication skills are valuable.

- Previous experience in construction accounting
- Proficiency in Excel and the Office 365 suite; experience with construction ERP systems, especially Viewpoint Spectrum
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision
- Experience with heavy civil contractors is a plus
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with internal teams and external stakeholders
