Job Summary
Establish and maintain comprehensive project contact lists for all Subcontractors while preparing prime contracts, subcontracts, and submittals. Coordinate project start-up documentation and communicate effectively with Owners, Owner's representatives, and Subcontractors to ensure compliance with contractual obligations, safety standards, and legal requirements. Request, update, and follow up on necessary documentation such as signed agreements, WSIB records, and performance bonds. Support timely processing and tracking of Subcontractor invoices and periodically source standard construction materials by reviewing purchase requisitions, issuing RFQs, and negotiating quotations. Upload executed documents to ensure records remain up-to-date. This full-time position is based in Mississauga, ON, with a potential progression into a Buyer role.
Required Qualifications
- Supply Chain or business-related diploma or degree
- Professional designation
- Strong understanding of procurement processes
- Ability to communicate effectively with Vendors
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to work within tight deadlines
- Prioritization of work to achieve them
- Strong Excel skills
- Eligible for security clearance
