Subcontractor Administrator (all levels)

Job Summary
Administer the full lifecycle of complex indirect subcontracts, from solicitation and award through closeout, managing large components like cryogenic tanks and major fabricated hardware. Develop RFPs, conduct cost analyses, and negotiate subcontract terms to ensure alignment with prime contract flow-down requirements. Lead procurement for high-value structures, coordinate technical requirements with engineering teams, and manage long-lead strategies for supply continuity. Negotiate long-term agreements and Master Service Agreements, establishing performance frameworks and monitoring milestone-based payment schedules. Resolve supplier disputes, conduct performance reviews, and maintain accurate documentation to support audits and regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of subcontract administration or procurement experience
- 5+ years of subcontract administration or procurement experience
- Experience administering complex subcontracts and long-term agreements
- Demonstrated experience with terms and conditions negotiation and management
- Familiarity with milestone-based statements of work and performance-based payment structures
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
- Proficiency with ERP/procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa)
- Ability to manage multiple complex priorities in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience procuring large components or major structures, such as cryogenic tanks, pressure vessels, or large fabricated assemblies
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with Master Service Agreements and long-term supply agreements
- Knowledge of aerospace quality standards and procurement compliance requirements (e.g., ITAR/EAR)
- Professional certification (e.g., CPM, CPSM, NCMA CFCM/CPCM, or equivalent)
